Booking and Quotes

Quote Process

All quotes are estimates based on the information you provide. Final costs may vary based on actual services required, distance, accessibility, and other factors discovered during the move.

Booking Requirements

To book our services, you must provide accurate information about your move, including inventory, addresses, and special requirements. A deposit may be required to secure your moving date.

Payment Terms

Payment Methods

We accept cash, check, and major credit cards. Payment is typically due upon completion of services unless other arrangements have been made in advance.

Additional Charges

Additional charges may apply for services not included in the original quote, such as long carry distances, stairs, elevators, shuttle services, or storage fees.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

You may cancel or reschedule your move with appropriate notice:

  • 48 hours notice: No cancellation fee
  • 24-48 hours notice: 50% of estimated cost
  • Less than 24 hours: Full estimated cost may apply
  • Weather-related cancellations may be rescheduled without penalty

Liability and Insurance

Basic Protection

We provide basic liability coverage as required by law. This covers items at a rate of $0.60 per pound per article. Additional insurance options are available for full replacement value coverage.

Customer Responsibilities

You are responsible for declaring high-value items, providing accurate inventory information, and ensuring items are properly prepared for moving according to our guidelines.

Prohibited Items

For safety and legal reasons, we cannot transport:

  • Hazardous materials (flammable, explosive, corrosive)
  • Perishable food items
  • Plants (on long-distance moves)
  • Personal documents and valuables (recommended to transport personally)
  • Illegal substances or contraband

Customer Obligations

As our customer, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information about your move
  • Be present or have an authorized representative during the move
  • Ensure clear access to both origin and destination locations
  • Secure parking permits if required
  • Remove personal items from furniture and appliances
  • Notify us of any changes to your move requirements

Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the coverage options you have selected. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our maximum liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid for our services.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from our services will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with Georgia state law. You agree to waive your right to participate in class action lawsuits.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any modifications.
